Perfection
Do not waste your
life seeking
perfection. Anger
and frustration
would be the result
of such a search.
You would lose all
peace. Where is
perfection? Creation
itself is imperfect.
Is your craving for
perfection in people
and situations not
madness? Ultimately
are you perfect.
Give up the idea of
perfection; all is
perfect.
The Mind and Fear
Carnal desire is
part of creation.
But it should not
become an addiction.
Just like the body
hungers for food,
the mind aches for
lust. These thoughts
are the food on
which the mind
subsists. If the
mind gets addicted
to this food, it
becomes an
obsession.
All that you can do
is to be conscious
of this
psychological
activity and not get
addicted to it.
Just like the
season’s alternate,
positive and
negative thoughts
also alternate.
You really have no
say over them.
Moreover I do not
take your thoughts
into consideration
to give you grace.
One needs to be
conscious of it.
That is all.
A higher state is
not necessarily
devoid of negative
thoughts. What you
call negative is
part of existence.
No amount of
sadhanas (spiritual
practices) are
powerful enough to
stop this flow of
negativity in the
mind. Since the
human body, mind and
entire system is
designed for
survival; fear is a
part of human
existence.
Ultimately all
negativity only
arises from fear.
The enlightened also
have negative
thoughts. While you
get entangled in
them, they do not.
There is no ‘person'
possessing them.
Hence negative
thoughts are
enormously reduced
in an enlightened
being.
He too would have
fear occasionally.
Unlike you, his fear
is more biological.
He too has to
survive physically
amidst you; hence
the physical fear.
There is however no
psychological fear.
You are not an
isolated human
being. The rest of
the world, its
thoughts, fears and
pleasures are
constantly affecting
you. The enormous
influence of people
living in lower
levels of
consciousness can
also affect you at
times. You are not
responsible for the
fluctuation of this
state. Hence working
for the collective
enlightenment has
great significance
in the context of
sustaining an
individual's
enlightenment.
Relationships
We do not speak of
detachment. We speak
of love. What you
call detachment is
basically a distaste
and an intolerance
towards the values,
behavior and life
style of your
parents. Would
distance really
separate you? No one
can sever their ties
with their parents
internally. You may
not be dependent on
them, nor they on
you. Nevertheless
you continue to
affect each other.
No matter how old
you are, your
relationship with
your parents whether
alive or deceased,
lives on.
You share neither
affection nor
accomplishments with
your family and
friends. That is why
you stand alone
today with no one to
share your
happiness. You have
to earn for yourself
a place in the
hearts of your
family and friends
in order to
experience joy and
contentment. What
else is life if not
relationships?
Is it really
possible for you to
be independent and
live all by
yourself?
Impossible, because
you are dependently
arising on the
people around you.
You are dependent on
them for your
survival and your
joy. If you did not
have anyone who
would love you or
whom you could love,
what inspiration
would work, success
or beauty have?
It is the people
around us who give a
meaning to our
existence. It is
only their presence
that makes
everything vibrant,
be it a temple, a
house or an
institution.
That is why a person
interested in
materialistic life
likes to associate
with his friends and
relatives.
A seeker hankers
behind realized
masters and fellow
seekers.
Ultimately God too
revels in the
company of his
devotees.
Every human being
feels lonely at
heart.
This need for
another has been
instilled by nature
for procreation.
At a deeper level,
it is lust that
manifests as
loneliness.
You could of course
use will-power and
suppress it
temporarily or at
best manage your
loneliness. It is
only when you are
enlightened could
you transcend
loneliness since you
then feel connected
to everything and
everyone.
Prayer and Grace
"How long?" is the
most frequently
asked question. Pray
until grace floods.
Grace is like a cool
breeze whose time of
arrival cannot be
predicted. All that
you can do is to
wait for it at your
window. You enjoy
the breeze when it
comes, so it is with
grace. Yours is to
pray and wait. And
when the grace does
not reach you,
accept it with
humility.
Security is possible
only when all is
given away in
gratitude to God.
Not otherwise.
Faith or no faith,
The Divine is in you
and with you at all
times.
Whatever be your
nature since you
have asked me, you
will have an
experience of the
Divine power.
Go home and chant
the Moolamantra. You
will experience the
Grace for yourself.
Mystical experiences
happen to many but
when they happen to
someone who is ripe,
they lead to a
profound awakening.
A single experience
is sufficient to
unravel God and the
truths of the
universe.
Oneness State
If the Divine gave
you this state in
totality all at
once, your body
would not be able to
handle it. It would
be knocked into a
non-functional
state. It would like
you to have a
fabulous state and
also function
perfectly, since you
still have
responsibilities.
That is why God is
giving it to you in
phases. Just like
fire gradually
consumes incense,
the state too will
slowly consume your
limited self.
The State is like
the breeze that
comes and goes. You
have no control over
it. The flow of
Kundalini decides
the intensity of the
state. Since your
Kundalini cannot
always be maintained
high, the state will
fluctuate for
everyone, even the
sages. Devoid of
that knowledge, you
will try to hold on
to the state and
will be easily
disturbed each time
the mystical quality
of it dips.
Your Oneness state
was given to you. It
is a blessing, not
an achievement.
Action
It is
the nature of
creation to hold
future a mystery.
However, what you
should do in your
future is up to you
to decide. Surrender
does not imply
laziness. You have
the power and the
ability to make your
own choices.
Make use of all the
opportunities that
come your way.
I will help you
reach your desired
goal.
For a glorious
future to be, desire
must flower into
passion and manifest
as action.
Your attention must
be focused on your
goal. Surrendering
to God, Buddha, The
Divine, Jesus Christ
or Jehovah does not
mean non-action.
This is called karma
; the plane of
action.
Hence effort in the
external world is
inevitable.
God’s grace will go
along with you in
your efforts.
Awaken to your
destiny. This is
what you are here
for.
Working for the
Collective
The Divine is like
the body and Humans
are the cells.
Whenever these cells
turn cancerous, the
body desperately
tries to heal
itself. Body is
infinitely more
powerful than any
individual cell. But
the individual cell
too has power, which
it acquires from the
body. It uses this
power to either
cooperate or defy
the body.
So it is with man
and God. Man too
being powerful, is
defying the divine.
It is not possible
to transform the
world without his
cooperation.
However, the present
state of affairs
cannot go on for
long. Ultimately it
is the will of the
Divine that will
come to pass.
Indeed, without any
of you the Divine
will still
accomplish its
mission. The Divine
has just one
priority; to
transform the world,
and will complete
the work anyway. All
it needs to
transform your town
in a single day is
one grand miracle.
All the same, The
Divine needs each
and every one of you
and your services to
humanity.
In this phase of
cosmic evolution it
has been preordained
that you should
fulfill your
individual part in
this way. There are
thousands whose
lives need and will
be affected by you.
It is my will that
this work should
happen through you.
No matter how many
may emerge, fulfill
your own part
yourself.
Are you wondering
how every drop in
this ocean of
humanity could be
enlightened and
transformed? When
the time for
transition arrives
the Presence would
engulf humanity like
a tidal wave and
alter its
consciousness. Do
not be disturbed. Do
what is expected of
you. Share your
wisdom and the power
of Oneness Diksha
with others.
The rest will be
taken care of.
There is always a
special place in my
heart for those who
are dedicated to the
cause of liberation
of humanity.
Remember your
thoughts are known
to you alone. Your
words are known to
you and the
listener, which
nonetheless are
forgotten with the
passage of time.
While the service
you render alone
shall stay for
eternity.
It will benefit all
life.
The highest of
states is the state
of service. The
spirit of service is
inbuilt into every
insight,
realization,
mystical experience
and mukti
[enlightenment]. It
is this spirit that
drives you to share
with the world what
has been given to
you.
For a higher order
human being it is
possible to love a
great cause like one
would love a beloved
or a mother.
To them the cause is
the beloved, is the
mother, their child,
their wife, in fact
everything. This
movement to
transform Oneness to
Humanity has become
everything to these
particular human
beings.
It is not the fault
of the river that
somebody's excrement
floats in it. This
work does not belong
to any One person or
a group of people.
If today you witness
these phenomenal
miracles and
enlightened states
in the lives of
scores of human
beings, what must be
the power and
penance that has
gone into it? Not
only the Divine; but
thousands of devoted
human beings, their
hard work and
prayers have all
made the movement
into what it is.
Hence any one
person's
self-centeredness or
greed cannot hurt
it.
This phenomenon is
divinely destined.
So get going with
your work and help
your fellow humans.
All things will fall
into place. No
matter what your
thoughts are, God
will liberate you.
